My daughter is 3 and is having a hard time going potty in the potty.?

I have a three year old daughter and she is potty trained but when she has to go pee she always goes just a little bit in her panties. She finishes in the toilet but her panties are always wet. What can I do?

Help her clue into the signs that she needs to go. She might realize a little too late and can't clench her Kegals fast enough, so that's why she's peeing a little in her pants. Also, you could try to put her on a bit of a schedule to ensure she's emptying her bladder often, say every 2 hours. She'll eventually get it. She might have a weak urethra, at her next Dr. appt. you might want to mention it and see if she needs to see a urologist.

She's just young. Her muscles might not be developed well enough to hold it properly yet. Or, she might be doing the very typical kid thing of waiting a bit too long to go because she's having fun playing when she needs to go.

Give her time, and talk to her about going sooner, especially if you see her dancing around like she's got to go.

may be possible that she wwaits to the last minute to potty. And you may have to ask her every thirty minutes to pooty or just watch to make sure she is not doing other things trying to hold it instead of going right then.

give her time. she may be trying to hold it to long. if any thing watch and see what she may be drinking. try to cut back on the color red in juices and soft drinks. If it continues contact her doctor.

Have you seen the commercial for those....what are they called??? OH! Pampers Baby Dry ultra absorb. or you could use those wet-sense diapers.

she doesnt have complete control of her bladder muscles yet. accidents happen. My son is almost three. will be in january and he goes tee tee for me, but the poo poo is hard.
