Ok,Nathaniel and i were best friends in 5th grade.He ALWAYS like would play with me like joke around with me and talk to me.He always puled my hair too.Like flirt i guess.But at open house for 6th grade,he was completely different.Should i worry now or should i just wait till the 1st day of school.Like i said hi to me and when i looked back he just wasnt there.Then i saw him in the halway and i said hey and he just ignored me.When something happend he was the one i came too and he talked to me.Should i worry or just wait.What could of happend?Open house was friday august 18th.

We were just good friends.Shelby,My suposibly friend or something,She always talked to him and he said that shelby told him that i was stuckup and never liked him as a friend.She said she didnt and i dont know who to believe.She alao said that i liked liked him and i dont.Were just good friends!OOH I DONT KNOW!!!!!:(

It's probably not about you. At this age, there are a lot of things happening to guys...with their bodies as well as their emotions. There are conflicts having to do with peer pressure and sorting out who they are and where they belong. It's a tough time for some, and they have no idea what's happening or how to act, and no way are they going to talk about it. The best thing you can do is remain steadfast and not overreact. Encourage, but don't push. He may get over it...he may not.

Anything could've happened to him in the past year. These things happen and people change. You should go up to him and say hello and start a conversation,ask him how his summer was, and take it from there. If he ignores you, just let him be. Don't sweat the small stuff.

It sounds like you two have grown apart. You need to just move on and make new friends. Nothing had to happen it is just time. You will make new friends and new best friends. Maybe your trying too hard. Just let him do his thing and you do yours and maybe he will come around. If not just chalk it up to growing up. If he does say hi to you don't be mean just say hi and keep going.

Something changed, but you wont know for sure till you go back to school. I wouldnt worry about it. You will make plenty of new friends, and meet lots of people.

I wouldnt worry because boys are like that at that age. they are going through as much as you are so i would just pretend like nothing happened and invite him to go out on the weekend or something.

well i had a boyfriend(still with him) in 3rd grade and we were like 2 pees in a pod we hung out together all the time he wouldnt even play with his friends come 4th grade he was shy around me and he only played with his friend i guess he just realized that friends were important but it felt like he dumped but were still going ou t i was so hurt

this happens all the time in middle school and especially in high school. sometimes your friends will reject u because they dont realize what they have.
