so i have this boyfriend. he is 24 yrs old, i am 16. i love him dearly. we're moving to canada soon because its legal there. i want a baby cuz i have a poodle and it needs a friend. if i have a baby i will name it lola or fred. thankyou

First thing...if you have to ask people you don't know if you should have a baby the answer is you're not ready...at 16 the last thing you need is a baby, and to use the reasoning that your poodle needs a friend is the most rediculous exscuse that i have ever heard...i hope that you are not serious in considering this tho because people that truely get pregnant for the reasons you gave make me sick and wonder why anyone would want to bring a child into todays world...please do the unborn child a favor and don't consive it...

No, at 16 you're not mature enough. Your 24 yr old boyfriend should be ashamed dating you. Why would he want someone 16..I mean isn't there anyone his age he can date?? He's a grown man & you are a minor.
You need to live your life first go to college & then think about raising a child. Also why does your dog need a baby as a friend. That is the poorest excuse for having a baby!

you need to grow up more before bringing a baby in this world. Your poodle needs a friend? get another dog for it than. A baby is not a friend to a dog, it's a child that needs a lot from you for at least 18 yrs. You risk your bf dropping you and than you will be left with a newborn to care for alone.

NO a baby is a lot harder to take care of than a dog. I had my first baby at 21 and I am 29 now I still wish I would have waited. You have plenty of time to be an adult and have children. You only have a short time to be a kid.

Your 16 grow up a little first and he is way to old for you.Im sure you think you love him and maybe you really do but just wait a few years and see what happens then.There is no rush.You may not even be together in 2 yrs,if you are thaen you can have a baby.My mom had me at 16,if it wasnt for my grandparents she couldnt have done it.

No I don't think you should a baby right now. First of all you are to young ,you have your whole life ahead of you. You need to know what it is like to take care of your self first b/c once that baby gets here it will be about the baby and not you .I say enjoy your life and then think about it when you are about 24 yrs. old please wait.

No Way should you have a baby to be a friend to your darn poodle. You need to be a lot more mature before you think about having children. Children are a gift. Children are your resposibility FOREVER! You are still just a child yourself! Don't do it.

I really, really hope you're kidding, cuz if not, DON'T GET PREGNANT. You're too young. And who knows if your boyfriend is always going to be there. Then you'll be left with the baby. And if you're worried about your poodle getting lonely, get another one. Or a cat.
