Upper Left Molar tooth. I do have horrible insurance but I don't believe it will cover the removal of a tooth. How much (w/o) insurance would it cost for them to pull a molar tooth..THX!

Funny you should ask... I just had a lower left molar taken out and I put 50.00 dollars retainer fee down and then 53.00 wasl the balance.... If you want to have Laughing Gas and all of that done figure over $200 all together.. but I guess price varies per dentist and state.

That depends a lot on where you live. You should consider a root canal for your tooth instead. Around where I live between 80. and 100. dollars and upwards to pull a tooth a a local dentist. Here is something you might not know. Teaching hospitals with dental schools will do work for much cheaper than degreed dentist. Everything is done with a teacher right there and often the teacher does the work while a student watches. Also there are free clinics that will pull teeth if you qualify for their program.

The price is going to vary. You may get a range on here but you are not going to get an exact price. Our office charges the following fees for extractions:

$155.00 simple extraction
$278.00 surgical extraction
$248.00 root tip extraction
$300.00-450.00 for a wisdom tooth(depending on the complications involved)

Our office does not offer in-office payment plans for this type of service. There is too big of a risk that someone would come in and have a tooth pulled and we wouldn't hear from them again, and never get all the money.

Some of the most reasonable prices are found at Dental Schools where good students need clients to work on.

How much would you chareg to paint my house? It's a one-story house in an average neighborhood. You would probably only need a ten foot lader.

See Huskymom's excellent answer for some numbers and please understand that we can't tell you. In fact, when someone calls my office "shopping for a price," we give them the entire range, because you never know with surgery exactly how it's going to go until it is done.
