I believe the USA should feel shame for sending young American men/women to be killed in an illegal war. Shame on the USA. Shame on the war supporters.

What's illegal about it?? Perhaps you're not aware of how the government of the US works. Just a really quick refresher.....CONGRESS has to vote for our military to go to war. That means that it has to be agreed upon by the majority of Congress, the House and Senate. NOT just ONE man can send the military to war. That said, that means that nothing about it was illegal. The evidence of WMD's were found, despite people ignoring this on the news. Saddam is no longer in power and killing thousands of people because they don't agree with him. The Iraqi people are being fed and educated and taught how to run their own country. The oil they produce will now help them instead of being buried in the ground with Saddam or be in his palaces. NOPE, nothing illegal about it. Only way it's illegal is if you're illiterate.

All I can say to you is "Go To Hell"! People like you do not understand at all. Would you like to live in a country where you could wake up one morning and be shot in the head because you had to go take your kids to school? And EXCUSE ME, since when was the war illegal? If I can recall right, I remember having two freaking commerical air-planes fly into our countries buildings! SHAME ON YOU! And yet, us nice Americans still let crazy, heartless people like you become citizens. Because we believe everyone should have a nice place to live and be free.

God Bless America!

Well, some would say the US should be ashamed. It is not the soldier's fault. They were simply following orders. Also, if Iraq ends up being a stable demcracy and a model for the region then the US should feel proud. That is only if that happens and right now it does not look too good.

Why ashamed?? You should feel proud that there is people who are willing to risk their lives for YOU. But sometimes, i feel unproud of being in the military because there is people like you who open their mouths and say stupid s.h.i.t like that.

Just keep all that bulls.h.i.t to yourself. You people could make are soldiers unhappy and that is not good. All they wanna hear is you supporting them. Not saying stupid stuff like that.

I'm sorry if u think i'm being messed up by saying this to you. But since you are saying how you feel. Well, this is how i feel. And the men and women in the military.

You can say f*** bush all u want, but at least support the troops.

Someone should feel shame for sending them there, but not the soldiers and not the Administration's opponents. But they won't feel any shame, somehow they will put the shame on others...old glory will fly just as high, but for some of us it will seem like its not as high as it used to be.

But the service men need to know that the job they are doing is worthwhile...don't confuse them, they need to stay alive and protect themselves...maybe in a few years the reality will hit them, but its not fair to be unsupportive of them.

Shame on you for preferring the tyranny of Sadam over the hope of freedom. Shame on you for burying your head in the sand and pretending that all is well. Shame on you for siding with a hostile theocracy which upholds genocide. Shame on you for blaming the light for the darkness.

Shame on you for not supporting the fight for freedom. Would you rather have left Saddam in power?

What is so illegal about it? I recall having this debate and voting in 2004.

Just because your man lost does not mean the war is illegal. It just means you are a sore loser.
