Yes and no. I think that there are Christians of many types on here. I've seen Catholics, Protestants, Orthodox, non-affiliated, Jehovah's Witnesses, etc. I've seen liberal, conservative, etc. There seem to be Christians from every point in the spectrum represented here, and therefore, the diversity is represented.
However, I think that this site has a tendency to draw a disproportionate amount of fundamentalist Christians, because many see it as a witnessing opportunity. So, while all the varieties seem to be represented, the amount of Fundamentalists may be over-represented.

No, mojo jojo, I dont think that the christians on yahoo answers acurately represent all of christianity.
We all represent a different form of christianity. We may all be called christians, but we all sort of have our own beliefs.

I think they represent the diversity found in the Christian church today, with a few true believers, a few fanatics, a few that think they are saved (or safe, might be more accurate) and many that haven't done quite enough study to know the scripture well enough to be transformed in some positive, major ways.

There is NO one group that accurately represents all of Christianity. The religion its self is divided into to many sects; all of them claiming to be the one true way.
In my opinion, they are all FACETS of the ONE DIAMOND. It is wrong for one to say they are so much better than another because in actuality, they are all parts of the same whole. If one facet of the diamond is damaged and/or dull, then the whole diamond loses worth. Each facet of the diamond of religion needs to accept and learn from one another. None of them practice what they preach anyways. The preacher riding around in his Escalade, the priest fondling the altar boys, the reverend cheating on his wife with the secretary...What is the world coming to?

Fortunately, not very accurate at all. I think this site attracts all the extremists. My dad and I were talking about how judgemental all the Christians on this site were and his comment was this,
"Just because someone is a Christian doesn't mean they are saved. And just because they are saved doesn't mean they aren't an a$$hole!"
And he IS a Christian!!!!
Blessings and Light!

Of course not!!
That is no more likely than saying a Frenchman answers for all of France; or an answer from an Arab represents all Arabs; or an answer from a Muslim represents all Muslims; or that your question represents all idiots on planet earth!!
