My reasoning for this is that the restaurant employees will think that I am starving because pigs say "oink, oink" and perhaps they'll associate that with hunger and speed up so that they can feed me.

Either that or the employees will think that I have become delusional as a result of excessive hunger. Thank you!

It is not in your best interests to tick off the wait staff. These are the people that can put who knows what in your food when they are bringing it to you. They could cough or sneeze on it...etc. If however, you feel that they are taking too long to get your food, you could ask to speak to a manager and explain that they are slow. However, part of that being slow thing, usually they have to cook your food, so it is fresh. I would prefer to just wait.

I can assure you, you will not get a response by doing this. You have to keep in mind that the speed of the food coming out of the kitchen general is out of your servers hands. The kitchen can only cook as fast as the laws of nature permit them. Don't expect to get a well done steak in 10 mins, that's probably a 25 min cook time. Try some fast food restaurants if you are that impatient.

You never want upset the waitstaff.

If you say "oink" this could be misinterpreted and the waiter/waitress may think you are calling them fat and then that person may, in turn, do something horrible to your food.

Unfortunately, there's not much you can do about slow service, because it may be the cook's fault, not the server's.

It would be much more kind if you went to eat before you got to the point that you wanted to act like a pig. Is it the restaurant's fault that you are extremely hungry?? I don't think so. So you are transferring your inability to judge your feeding time upon innocent waitresses that have no control over the kitchen. Grow up!

It's never in your best interest to upset the waitstaff - they are the ones bringing you your food.

Your best bet is to wait politely until your food is served. If you know the restaurant has slow service, then unfortunately, you just expect that and wait.

If the restaurant normally has good service, and you happen to have caught them on an exceptionally slow day (i.e., waiting over 30 minutes for dinner!), it is okay to get your server's attention and ASK them if they could please check on your order, as the service seems to be slower than normal. Tell them you know it's not his/her fault, but you'd appreciate it if he/she could just check for you.

even as one million) The servers are not pleasant 2) The servers educate no interest in serving you 3) The servers slam down dishes and pour drinks carelessly 4) The servers are grumpy, arrogant and impolite and could not answer you good in case you ask for recommendations 5) The nutrition comes too slowly 6) The nutrition comes chilly 7) the various dishes come very far aside so that you wait in between eating 8) once you favor to regulate cutlery, the servers seem disenchanted and draw close it away 9) The servers ignore you and reluctantly come to you

Wrong on all counts. If you make pig noises, you will be asked to leave. Act like an adult, you will be treated like an adult.
Act like a fool, you will be treated like a fool.

You don't need to make a scene to get service. Besides, you don't know what the chef and the waitstaff messing with your food order, do you?

Think about it.

Sure why not?, nothing else seems to work when the employees are in 'go slow mode'. You could also faint with hunger, that might get their attention... then again, they could just walk over you and keep going.. lol
