Question about a text!!! Please Answer!!!! Especially Girls!!!!!!?
I was textin my best (girl) friend today and totally nothing to do with the conversation she said this: " luk a few ppl r sayn u myt like me nd im sory bt i dnt wana no f its tru r nt bt nutn can come of it, cuz i realy value u as a frnd, ".

What i wanna know is if you think this is her polite way of saying "i dont like you like that"

or she maybe does like me but is afraid of what would happen if it didnt work out?

Also, Is it odd that this makes me feel really good? Almost like she thinks too much of me to risk it? Or am I wrong?

I know what I am going to do, I am happy with our friendship as it is, but what I am Really asking is: What is Her point of view?

She only wants you as a friend.

I think this is a polite way for her to let you know she's not interested in a romantic relationship. You have a good friend in her as she has let you know without putting you on the spot which would just end up making both of you uncomfortable.

You should feel good about the fact that she obviously does value your friendship. Good friends are very hard to come by these days! =)

You should just ask her what her point of view is if you want an honest answer. If she's your friend and someone that you would hope to date in the future, I would hope you could be honest with her and ask her yourslf. Especially if you asked this question before on here, but are hoping for a different answer....anyways, here's my take on it. When I said something similar to that to my best guy friend, I said it because I know that I am not attracted to him at all. I am attracted to him personality, but nothing that would make me think of him in more than a friend. Maybe she's the same way. I was honest with my other guy friend that I knew liked me, but I told him I didn't want to date him cause we would ruin what we had, we tried, dated for 6 months, didn't last, there wasn't any heat and looking back on it now I realize its because I was just attracted to his personality, and now I haven't spoken or seen him for 4 months after I broke up with him. I dont know if that helps, but honestly hun, talk with her, thats the only way your going to know what she's thinking!

Women prefer to be misunderstood than be rude.

Men prefer to be rude and to the point.

She thinks the idea of you as a bf is not a good one. In other words, she doesn't want you kissing on her.

We all wish women would sometimes just say what they mean, instead of expecting us to figure it out. . .but until the apocalypse comes, we're stuck asking Yahoo.

ASK HER! If you two are truly great friends you should be talking to her not a million or so people who are not HER. People spend too much time asking the wrong people how someone feels. The only way you'll ever really is to ask her yourself.

she feels like you're too good of a friend to date. and she doesn't wanna lose the relationship you have now. like if you go out and break up then you will be all weird around each other. and she doesn't want that.:]

She's just not interrested in you, and it's a polite and friendly way to say it to you, that's all!

I think she wants to be a friend.....translated in a woman's terminology....without you seeing her naked.
