I'm going to be attending university next year and I was wondering what kind of supplies I would need in order to survive the dreadful transition. I am taking arts and humanities courses and one biology course. The university is only an hour bus-ride away from my house so I do not need to live in the dorm.

Definitely bring a backback with the following: mechanical pencil(rooms don't have sharpeners), blue pens, hilighters, three ring binder filled with paper for written work(spiral notebooks are no good), a composition notebook for notes, calculator, ruler, and bottled water(so you don't have to leave class for a drink). Make sure your cell phone is turned off or on silent before you enter class. Have a fun semester!

A spiral notebook for each course. If you have a lab with your biology course, you may need a lab notebook or a marble notebook. Bring a bunch of pens, a calculator, and a ruler.
