With your hair dry, isolate the hair with paint on it from the non affected hair. Soak a cotton swab in paint thinner and gently stroke the paint away. Be careful not to get paint thinner in your eyes.

Once the paint is removed, neutralize the thinner with shampoo and water. Now apply vinegar to the area where the thinner was and comb through the hair for about ten minutes to close down the damaged hair cuticles. Shampoo - rinse - shampoo - rinse.

In the event the paint thinner discolored some hair, you will need to go to a salon for a color touch up, or if the area is small, simply cut it away.

Is it oil based or water based? If its water based, it should wash out. Oil based..not sure. You could try to use a small amount of baby oil on the paint. If its really not that much paint, then I would leave it. Let it come off on its own. Your natural oils will get rid of it over time. If its a lot and the water and baby oil dont work, go to a salon. See if they have a solution for you. Good luck!

Swiss Formula St. Ives Makeup Remover and Facial Cleanser. It will condition the hair slightly, smells nice, and remove the paint. Or you can just use rubbing alcohol, if you can stand the smell.

Is it oil-based? If so, paint remover is the only thing i know of that will get it out...but you'll have to wash it hardcore afterwards to get the smell out. If the paint is water-based, shampoo or juat soap and water should work.

depends on what kind of paint it is, if its latex based or acrylic paint then you can scrub at it or use peanut butter, massage the peanut butter in to the paint it will loosen it up and it will slide right out, if its oil based paint then you need to use paint thinner, then wash it well with shampoo!
good luck and next time wear a doo rag!

depending on what type of paint it is you may just be able to brush it out, but if not try peanut butter or a small amount of finger nail polish remover, but don't leave that in your hair for long.
