Holly.

You only go to hell for one thing. period. ok?

You don't go to hell for being gay.
You don't go to hell for being a Lesbian.
You don't go to hell for being bisexual.
You don't go to hell for divorce.
You don't go to hell for smoking.
You don't go to hell for drinking.
You don't go to hell for anything, but ONE thing. Thats it.
Not "accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior", and living a Christian life.

I don't care what anyone tells you, they can't SHOW it with scipture. If they THINK they can, they simply have misread it, or don't understand it. A perfect example of this, is what I just wrote. Go back up and read it again.
I didn't say being Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual was ok. Thats not what I said at all.
I said you don't go to hell for it. A Christian will not be gay, lesbian, bisexual. ok?
If a Gay person goes to hell, it's for NOT being "saved". They don't go to hell for being Gay.
You say, there is no difference? YES, there absolutley is a BIG difference.
If being Gay is a automatic condemned to hell, then the Bible is a lie. God, says anyone who repents and calls upon His name shall be saved. People that say Gay's are condemned is 1000% wrong. They have until there death to repent. Not for being gay, but, for NOT being saved.

It is very critical HOW a person explains things. They can mislead people into hell itself with false or ignorant information.
You can divorce for any reason you choose. If it was not a Christian marriage, it was not recognized by God anyway. If it is a Christian marriage, you have greater problems than a divorce.
There are people that will disagree with this. i don't care, they can't use the Bible and show me wrong. Because they're same Bible says: ALL SINS ARE FORGIVEN, THROUGH CHRIST IN PRAYER. end of story.
Sin and practicing the same sin over and over, is 2 different things. "REPENT" means, just that. "Change of Mind". You change your ways from the sin you are doing.

Jesus Christ did not die on the cross for Christians. He died and gave His life for the UNbelievers.
The Holy Bible is for Believers, not UNbelievers. Jesus said, Go forth and what? PREACH, by mouth, not book. He told Christians to make disiples of men. He didn't leave a book with self explanatory instructions for someone to pick up and read.
When Jesus talks about marriage, he is talking to who? Believers. Not the lost. Why would He tell the unbeliever how to be married or not? They are going to hell for not being "saved" anyway.
This is why, if a person lives by what the Bible says, and not do much wrong and is a good person, They can NOT go to heaven. Living a good life is NOT getting a person in heaven. The Bible is a book of instructions for Believers, not unbelievers. Jesus Christ is for unbelievers, not the Holy Bible.

Have a good week.

This is a slightly disturbing question cuz it takes two to make a marriage and sometimes after ten years of trying to get the other person to listen and care you just give up. It wasnt even my fault. He pushed me away. And yet people who didnt live with him all those years were judgine me cuz they didnt know what had really gone on behind closed doors. God can forgive anything. Many Christians are divorced. Why do you single out one thing when there are ten commandments and everyone has to repent of all mistakes which happens every time you take Holy Communion so do that once a month and you wont have to worry...

No. The only sin that will not be forgiven is "blasphemy of the Holy Spirit"....That's, a rejection of religion in Jesus Christ. Some persons attempt to flip the words of Jesus (on the area of divorce) right into a "2d Moses". Jesus didn't come to offer us legal guidelines, rules, and regulations....He got here to set us free from those matters. Divorce is certainly not "God's great for us"....Marriage is. That being said, each and every crisis is special. Whether or not or no longer a man or woman should search divorce in a special situation is a confidential matter, between God and the individual.

No. The best sin that allows you to now not be forgiven is "blasphemy of the Holy Spirit"....that's, a rejection of religion in Jesus Christ. Some individuals attempt to flip the phrases of Jesus (at the discipline of divorce) right into a "moment Moses". Jesus didn't come to supply us legislation, regulations, and rules....He got here to set us unfastened from the ones matters. Divorce is in no way "God's quality for us"....marriage is. That being stated, each and every main issue is special. Whether or now not a individual will have to search divorce in a special main issue is a personal subject, among God and the character.

No. the purely sin that should not be forgiven is "blasphemy of the Holy Spirit"....it truly is, a rejection of religion in Jesus Christ. some people attempt to reveal the words of Jesus (on the problem of divorce) right into a "2d Moses". Jesus did not come to provide us regulations, regulations, and guidelines....He got here to set us loose from those issues. Divorce is by no ability "God's staggering for us"....marriage is. That being stated, each and every difficulty is different. no matter if someone ought to seek for divorce in a particular difficulty is a private count number, between God and the man.

Why do you think that way? who taught you about going to hell? why do you have to sin by remarrying when you are divorced? Which church do you belong? Why do you have to be imprisoned by the belief of being in Hell if you do what is wrong? Not everything that is wrong could bring you there. Moreso, if you are legally divorced by the law in your community. Your religion may not sanction the civil court's rule but I believe there is annulment that church may decree and that will help divorcee to remarry without being condmmed to hell.

If you want to get into hell you're going to have to do much more than that!

Thankfully, the law of cause and effect has not been repealed.

Think of eternity, countless billions of billions of years stretching both into the past and future. All of the recorded history of our planet less than the blink of an eye in comparison. I guarantee that a human mind cannot even begin to comprehend this much time.

Now, think about it, all that time in hell for what? A marriage??? Being sent to the electric chair for shoplifting a piece of penny candy makes much more sense.

Seriously, I see you've posted several questions about hell. Relax. The law of Karma has a balance to it and many times things are worked out in this lifetime. You are not going to do anything in this life that will get you "eternity in hell".

May you be happy, may you be free from suffering, may you be at peace...

I wasn't aware that you needed to repent a remarriage. Even the Fundies are alright with remariage as long as one is not "unequally yoked".

divorce is wrong. but you only go to hell if you are not saved
A- Admit to God you are a sinner
B- Believe that Jesus is God's son, and that he died for you and rose on the third day
C- Confess Him as your Savior and Lord.
You can only get into Heaven by doing this and believing on Jesus and what he did for you.
the other stuff is stuff you need to ask forgiveness for. then you are clear
THere is sin, and consequences for your actions. and you need to repent of those sins

No - all negative images of god -- including hell -- are false projections of people's thoughts. That's it. Lots of stuff made it into the bible that is just a projection of people's thoughts. People never like the fact that God is Unconditional Love (remember the 'good' son in the prodigal son parable?) and therefore will ALWAYS change the message if someone preaches that (and, in Jesus' case, they not only changed his message but they crucified him). God is UNCONDITIONAL LOVE - there is no sin, no hell. And if people ask 'then why do do good?' or 'then everyone goes to heaven?' then they're obviously spiritually immature, just like the 'good' son is in the prodigal son parable who can't understand the nature of God. Once someone has a glmpse of God and one's real nature as Love, these questions become meaningless and the person strives to love in every situation.
