I would have no use for their advise , and the times they have given it to me . Its more insulting than helpful .

I try to surround myself with good people..that share their faith thru example. I don't know anybody that is godly without the sacrifice our lord and savior Jesus Christ made and I try to remember that when I deal with those who don't accept that, because if I live the life that Christ would want me to lead it will bring more people to the truth than by mere words. Just think, a hospital is there to service the sick, much as the gospel is there to service the spirit...some people just take longer getting there...and I know there is a judge far above me to determine who lives in heaven and who goes downstairs.

I am glad you do. At least their presence would always lead you away from temptations. But somehow I wish you don't look at people of different style of life as in the wrong side of belief. Even Jesus himself said I come for the sinners. I am not saying you have to be like Jesus because he has a mission but rather no matter how small light of goodness there is in you it might be light enough for some who gropes in the alley of darkness. You probably mean you are great for their counsel.

Yes I do. But I also try to treat the rest with kindness and try not to judge them. I've seen too many people turned off to Christianity because of people who judged them and came on too strong. I have several friends who are not believers, and if they want to know more about my beliefs, I am willing to share them. Until that time, I accept them for who they are.

your doing the right thing, you can counsel normal people, I say normal because we are all sinners, you may not want to hang with the wrong ones, that would be a bad influence. I hang with the Lord... starting to go to Church more. I tend to go to different Churches, that are all God's houses, and I get to talk to different people with different perspectives.

Yes, I surround myself with people who don't teach, preach, judge, or think that their beliefs and concepts are the truth. They work on their egos and are incredibly and beautifully ordinary - not trying to save me or teach me or anything. I feel God in them because of their acceptance and love and because they're not deluded into thinking that they're above it all. They accept all religions and no religion and don't think anyone has the market cornered on the truth; it makes me feel peaceful.

I lead by example, even Jesus kept the company of those spurned by society.

I do, and I use my head to. I ask lots of questions, and think about their answers, studying to see if what they are saying is on the right track...

and I never act on something that feels wrong.

That is good advice (to surround yourself with Godly people).

Cordially,
