At one vet clinic I worked at one day we had 3 dogs called up for pickup at the same time. Typically you only get one at a time. Even two is fairly rare at once. We had a HUGE german shepard, a black lab and a 2 pound pomeranian. In the lobby we found a woman who looked to be 70-80, a 20ish woman and a HUGE black man wearing leather who arrived on a harley. The lab walked out first and the 20ish woman walked up to take her dog. Next came the german shephard. Due to the size of the dog, we automatically headed for the man. Obviously he was the only one left with the strength to handle this HUGE dog. But the little old lady was the one who jumped up to collect this dog. The dog that had dragged us all over the walking grounds turned into an ANGEL when she took the leash. He walked close to her and held her weight any time she slipped or seemed tired. He was obviously devoted to her.
Then I came out with the Pom puppy. This thing fit into my hands easily. All of a sudden the huge man, dressed like a biker and looking mean and tough turned into a puddle. He cooed at his "little pookums". He slipped the dog into a pocket he had had installed into the inside of his leather jacket and left, climbing on his Harley to drive off. No one if the WORLD would ever tell that man his "little pookums" was not "manly enough" for him.
A breed of a dog is not a reflection of your sexuality. Owning a particular breeed of dog just makes you a fan of that particular breed. A straight guy who owns a dog others may consider "a gay man's dog" is not gay himself, he's secure enough in his own sexuality to know that a dog doesn't make a difference in that. Go get your dog. If your friends think it's funny, it's not YOUR sexuality they question... it's their own.

There is NOTHING in this world better than sucking hard and long on a Yorkie, all day long.
Oh wait, did you mean a Yorkie chocolate bar, or a Yorkie dog ?

Why wouldn't it be okay? If you like yorkies, get a yorkie! I personally like bigger dogs, but to each his own. Go for it!

Have the dog you want & heck with them. Don't start making decisions based on what others believe is right for you. I think it is called peer pressure.
