GARLIC BUTTER SAUCE

1/2 c. butter, melted
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Melt butter over low heat. Add lemon juice and garlic. Stir well. Baste over grilled fish steaks or filets (generously).

DILLY BUTTER GARLIC SAUCE

3 c. butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp. snipped fresh dill or 2 tsp. dried
1/2 c. lemon juice

In saucepan cook garlic in 1 tablespoon of the butter until golden. Add remaining butter and dill; heat until the butter is melted. Stir in lemon juice. Use to baste shrimp or meat. Makes 3 1/2 cups.

GARLIC BUTTER SAUCE

1 c. butter
1 tsp. salt (or salt sub.)
1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves, chopped fine
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 tsp. pepper

Melt butter in skillet over low heat, add garlic. Cook until just browned. Add all other ingredients and simmer for 4 minutes. This is good used on French bread. Spread on bread and add Parmesan cheese directly to bread before baking.

Garlic Butter Sauce

INGREDIENTS:
1/3 cup butter
1 clove crushed garlic
1/4 tablespoon dried basil
2 teaspoons dried oregano

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DIRECTIONS:
In a small saucepan melt butter, add garlic and saute until cooked. Add dried oregano and dried basil and stir until heated through.
Serve warm.

Roasted Garlic Peppercorn Sauce

INGREDIENTS:
1 whole head garlic
1 teaspoon olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon ground mixed peppercorns
1 pinch ground nutmeg

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Slice off the top third of the head of garlic so the tips of the cloves are exposed. Place in a small baking dish, and add just enough water to cover the bottom of the dish. Drizzle the olive oil over the top of the garlic, then cover with a lid or foil. Bake for 45 minutes.
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Mix together the flour and milk so there are no lumps, and pour into the pan with the butter. Bring to a boil, and cook, stirring constantly until thickened, about 5 minutes. Squeeze the garlic cloves from their skin, and mash. Stir garlic into the sauce, and season with salt, peppercorns, and nutmeg.

3/4 cup butter or margarine

1 tablespoon tabasco sauce

In small saucepan heat butter until half melted: shake pan constantly. Add garlic and cook 2 to 3 minutes or until butter is melted and foam on surface is barely browned: shake pan occasionally. Stir in parsley and tabasco sauce: cook 1 to 2 minutes or until sauce is lightly browned and very foamy. Remove from heat.

GARLIC BUTTER
Ingredients
1/2 cup minced garlic cloves
2 TB minced shallots
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1/2 pound butter
1/2 pound margarine
3/4 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp ground Mace
1/4 tsp Tobasco sauce

(I use 1/2 butter and 1/2 margarine because it can be heated to a higher temperature before it starts to smoke)

Mix on low speed - you don't want to make whipped butter - just mix it thoroughly.

i take advantage of castor oil.... so a lot extra moisturizing than Vaseline! Then i take advantage of MAC reflects glitter. I also favor to characteristic some Pixi stix powder to grant the gloss some sheer colour :) this is like a pretend MAC Dazzleglass haha :)
