hey, i have a rough coated/scruffy white with brown around eye cutie girl jack russell.{zoe}
she is not hyper unless company first comes.
she sleeps when i do, she has turned into the doggie vesion of me.lol.
yellow jackets killed my first jack(rufus) 40 stung him inside and out. he swallowed many. vet couldnt save him. 3 days he died.
be careful .,look for nests in the ground. at nite pour gas in them!!!
anyway, anyone got cute russell storys??

I have a jack.
Say actually says " I love you "
for a treat, that is.
She knows many words that I say. Like park, grandma, treat, home, leash, puppy, store, ride, &TV. She looks at me and cocks her head and listens when one of these words are in my sentance.
There is a commercial on TV for Cottonelle toilet paper. There is a little golden retreiver puppy in it. It starts out with a kid calling out "Mo-oooommmm". When I say it that same way she runs to the TV to look for the puppy.
Shes so cute. Shes white w/ a black head and ears and two little brown spots over her eyes.

Check out the local shelters. Both no kill ones and the counties(like the humane society) also there are groups that will specialize in rescuing a particular breed of animal. Surprisingly shelters are constantly getting purebreds dogs that need to get adopted. Not only will you be saving a life, but it is a lot cheaper than buying from a breeder. like for example it would be $1000 from a breeder and adopted is around $90.

I have one. She's very attached to me. Where ever I am, so is she. She's protective of our home and me, but to some extent the children too.
I do think she merely tolerates my kids because I love them. I think she'd rather they left her alone completely, but she'd never hurt them.
