mother nature, and Father sky.

Pagan and earth religions usually have both a male and female aspect.

the term mother nature comes from Mother Earth.

the earth is our Mother it substains us, it provides everything that we need to live.

the sky is our father always watching out for us and looking over us.

God is considered to be male because where the Bible comes from, that's the culture. Male=leader, women were second-class citzens back then (and still are over there if I'm not mistaken). It wouldn't have been proper to describe God as any other than male. Ain't gonna go into the nature-female thang, I'll let someone else answer that.

"mother" nature came from pagan traditions that worship creation rather than the creator. This is again one of the lies of the enemy to make the female the 'head' and ultimate authority when this is not the order God created- before I get blasted by the feminazis- understand I did not say that women are men's footstools or not equal in any way- the fact is God created order and His command is man is the head, BUT man is to treat women with respect, full consideration and work together as one- not one trying to best and belittle the other. If you don't like the truth of the matter, take it up with God, not me- personally, I think it works wonderfully that way when both man and woman are in submission to EACH OTHER and to God! Less strife and stress that way.

God is the Father, Son & Holy Spirit. The Heavenly Jerusalem is the Mother.

God the Father is like the greatest grand dad ever. And is a father figure so is male.

Jesus Christ is male.

The church of Christ is the bride of Christ.

There are a lot of goddesses that people have worshipped but they are referred to as idols to God of the bible. The Harlot of abomination (Babylon) for instance.

Because females were not present until God made Eve from Adam and the earth.
That is because Adam needed a vagina to make baby's to fill the earth.
There are no sexes in heaven they are all in spirit form.
There are no toilets in heaven.
Mother nature is a term used by many to help in their so called explanations of nature.

God is considered to be male for a number of reasons. #1. He introduced himself as God. #2, he created Adam in his image. #3, he gave Adam dominion over the earth (until the fall).

For those who say Men wrote the bible. Your right, God did. The bible is the inspired word of God.

'Man' is often considered (wrongly) as being 'separate' from nature. In Christianity there is a subtle belief that nature, life and the feminine are 'evil'.

There is also the subtle belief that 'God' is separate from these things so being separate from these things is somehow being closer to 'God'.

These misguided beliefs are still creating problems for Christians.
