Before the Moslimes, the Arabs were one of the most cultured and decent people. Many of them were Christians. The Arabs had a healthy society. When the Moslimes came--
(1) They introduced polygamy.
(2) The condition of women became worst(before the Moslimes they had equal rights). They were completely deprived of any rights and inheritence.
(3) They introduced tribal warfare.
(4) They introduced hate.

answer to ur 1st question.....true that polygamy exists among muslims...i guess that is the only reason y unlike most christians muslim men don't spend time in clubs and prostitutes houses to please themselves and bring home HIV and expose it to their wives/girlfrndz and kids....
2. Islam is teh first religfion that gives women theri rights, in hinduism women are burnt alive after their husbands' death, and they hav to spend rest of their llife wearing that white sarri. muslim women can own business, they can run their own life. btw b4 Islam was introduced, arabs used to burry their daughters alive (i don't think that is being civilized, unless it is 4 u and looking at ur blown up head it seems this is civilazation for u)
3. tribal warfare? are u nuts....tribes has been around from thousands of yrs... arabs has been living in tribal sysmtem from long. atleast these tribal system didn't caused massacred of like the "civilized kingdoms of west"

You need to read more. They're Muslims. Polygamy was around way before they came on the scene. Women still have rights and inheriatance, they didn't completely lose them. Tribal warfare was not introduced by them. Hate was around way before they came.

I do believe polygamy was in your bible and I do believe there was much hate andwomen were being raped and what equal right did women have befor Islam the religion is Islam not MUSLIMS,this is people who follow Islam and were they not always fighting in your bible.maybe you need to research your own bible befor you make an untrue statment.In Islam women are equal to men.they are just stronger and dont makes decisions on emotions ,they use logic and knowledge so they are over the household.I have seen way more hate out of christians than Muslims.and yes men are allowed to have more than one wife but most dont because they are not able to treat them equal and this is commanded.I am equal to my husband in every aspect except he is the head of the house.he is most loving and respectfulto everyone he meets.and we would never judge you for you ignorance toward Islam,may Allah guide you

(1) Yes, Islam permits polygamy. but your religion lets you date with people and everything. dont you think that is wrong?
(2)...uhh before the muslims the arabs used to bury their daughters. The women were like property to them. When Islam came, it gave women inheritance rights and more.
(3) uhh i dont know what you are talking about. There was a tribal system long before Islam. Before Islam, there were two tribes Aws and Khazraj that used to fight for over 100 years. After Islam, they became united.

You have a problem with polygamy? Even the Bible has characters that are polygamous, and that was written long before Islam came about.
Also, women have been treated badly long before the Muslims came around. Tribal warfare and hate predates them, too.
