Well one things for sure, if they like you, then he'll call you often. He'll sit with you at lunch, and when I was in school, years ago, the guys use to carry the books for the girl he liked to class. Those are but a few things I remember, from that age.

Most boys around this age are just horny and infatuated. Nevertheless he should respect you, even when you say no to certain things, he should not have a problem spending time with you, whether on a date, at school or library. He should not be ashamed to let others see or know that you're his girlfriend.
