If you're psychic, you should know, no? This is something I highly recommend you quit. If it is forced on you, you should rebuke it in the name of Jesus' blood. Ask God for guidance and test every spirit to see if it is of God or not. Otherwise the deceiver will use you to further his cause.
The way you test a spirit is to ask a simple question and if he answers true, then you'll know he is from God. The enemy will never acknowledge that Jesus is the Son of God. I suggest you study the Bible so you'll know God's character and can discern which character of spirit you are dealing with.

I knew you were going to ask me that. OK seriously - sometimes I see the future before it happens (its called "precognition" - and I am a skeptic of this!!!) but I have no control over what I see, and sometimes its ten years before it happens and sometimes its ten seconds before it happens. Being psychic is more likely being highly intuitive. Remember, I am skeptical of my own ability, but for some reason or another I am cursed with it. It makes no sense to me, but life is like that sometimes. The ones that actually are psychic (or seem to be) rarely advertise the fact as they usually don't want it to be known. And the ones that ask for money for it are phonies, so avoid them like the plague.

Okay...I am a Christian. I am also what is called a sensitive. I have dreams that come true and I sense things from people, places, things, and even news broadcast that later I find out was true. My sensitivity strengthens with the study of His Word. The more I grow as a christian the more He reveals to me.
If this is a gift from God he will nurture it as you nurture your knowlege and relationship with the Lord.
Don't talk to people about this unless they mention it to you , because people in general cannot except what they don't understand.
If Mary and Joseph would have run into the street to tell everyone that an Angel had appeared to them to foretale of the virgin birth, they would have been stoned to death and Jesus would have to wait to find a more prudent couple to find his way in the world. The Bible is full of God's people who were in service to His will who also had many abilities that now are not accepted in general society.
Yes...the world is full of false prophets,Sylvia Brown is one of them...especially her take on angels, demons and spirituallity in general, her psychic ability is more limited than even she will acknowledge.
However, there are many people who are sensitive and are not false. You will find them everywhere. Look around at church but be tight lipped. Follow Him wher'er he leads and don't rely on any human being to guide you.

There is a guy named the Amazing Randy who will give anyone $1 million if they can prove they are psychic.
That offer has been on the table for years and...
*No one* has been able to prove *any* psychic ability.

If there were real psychics, they'd have won the lottery or at least have taken home the $1 million dollar prize from the randi association (http://www.randi.org/research/index.html).

I'm sure you're sincere, but I deeply hope you won't allow yourself to take a wrong path in life by getting involved with any kind of occult practice. Instead of bringing you close to God, it will only take you away from Him.
Why do I say this? The reason is because the Bible clearly says that occult practices of any kind do not come from God, but from spiritual powers that oppose Him. In other words, the Bible says occult practices aren't a gift from God (as you believe) but come from the one who opposes Him—namely, Satan. God warned the ancient Israelites that the nations around them practiced sorcery and divination, "But as for you, the Lord your God has not permitted you to do so" (Deuteronomy 18:14).
Instead, I urge you to turn to God and seek His will for your life. Only He knows our future, and only He can be trusted to lead us. God loves you, and He wants what is best for you—and the proof is that He gave His only Son, Jesus, to die for you on the cross.
Our greatest need is to be cleansed of our sins—only Christ can do that. By a simple prayer of faith invite Jesus to come into your life today—and He will. Then make it your goal to "pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart" (2 Timothy 2:22).
