beating a child is leaving bruises and not caring where you hit them.... spanking a child is punishment by spanking their butts and just letting them know that what they did was wrong in the right manner. anyone that beats their child needs to be beaten 10
times worser!!!

I don't see a difference either way you are hitting your child, because most people say they beat their child when they act up but isn't that what people who spank their child say too?

spanking is usually used by people who don't discipline their children regularly, and is very light. usually it doesnt hurt very much. beating only happens evey once in a while and last a lot longer.
