I'm so sorry for you and the bird.
If it was a pigeon type bird, they have a crop where the food is digested to pass on through their system. If this bird had eaten not to long before and had a 1/2 to full crop the force of hitting you would have forced the food out making it look like it was throwing up. Did the bird die?? I agree with the answer, just wash up really well.

It was probably getting sick from the shock and not from some infectious disease unless that was the cause of it flying into you in the first place. Just clean up with disinfectant and unless you start noticing some symptoms of your own, I wouldn't worry about it.
