Yrs. ago there was a Mills restaurant in Downtown Cleveland that made the best salad dressing with these ingredients plus? Does anyone know what this recipe was?

HONEY AND GARLIC DRESSING

1/4 cup peanut oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice or lime juice
1 teaspoon fresh lemon rind or lime rind, grated
6 teaspoons honey
1-2 clove garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon chives, chopped
salt and pepper

Combine in a screw top jar all ingredients and shake until well combined.
Pour over tossed green salad.

This is an excellent dressing from the middle east. TAHINI DRESSING Ingredients 1/3 cup well-stirred tahini (Middle Eastern sesame paste) 1/3 cup water 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice 2 garlic cloves, chopped 3/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon sugar (optional) Method Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.

Japanese Ginger Salad Dressing

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup olive oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 lemon, juiced
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons minced fresh ginger root
1 teaspoon prepared Dijon-style mustard
2 teaspoons honey
ground black pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, mustard, honey and pepper. Once these are thoroughly combined, add the oil in a steady stream, whisking constantly. When all of the oil is incorporated into the dressing, pour into a glass jar and chill until serving.

Honey and Lemon Salad Dressing
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon honey
1/4 teaspoon cider vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1 pinch garlic powder
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
1 dash sherry wine
Combine lemon juice with olive oil in a small jar and shake well. Combine honey and vinegar in small bowl or cup and stir until honey is disolved and then add to lemon juice/oil mixture in jar. Add remainder of ingredients (salt - sherry) and shake well (or whisk) to combine.
Refrigerate. Shake well before using.
