You were shocked or got an electrical burn.Had you been "electricuted"you could not have posted this question,because you would be DEAD!The word you were looking for is "corroded". If you are a qualified electrician,you might have a case.If not you wre messing with something you shouldn't have been,but might still have a chjance at it, if you can prove negligence on the part of your employer.If you are a qualified tech,HA HA way to go dumb@$$

No dipstick, you were zapped! You will get a second chance in life, provided you stop grabbing bare wires. Had you been electrocuted, your kin would probably be sobbing over your casket.

If you were hurt absolutely. Like someone else suggested, you need to contact OSHA as well and report it, that's a serious safety violation

If you were electrocuted, you are dead. You may have been shocked, but you weren't electrocuted.

Were you hurt? - getting shocked would never hold up in court, unless you have physical injury.

do you mean corroded ? no if you were in doubt should have disconnected power. or found junction box .
