Based on a one-year in-depth study, a researcher estimates there are about 240,000 illegal immigrant sex offenders in the United States who have had an average of four victims each.
Deborah Schurman-Kauflin of the Violent Crimes Institute in Atlanta analyzed 1,500 cases from January 1999 through April 2006 that included serial rapes, serial murders, sexual homicides and child molestation committed by illegal immigrants.
She found that while the offenders were located in 36 states, most were in states with the highest numbers of illegal immigrants. California had the most offenders, followed by Texas, Arizona, New Jersey, New York and Florida.

That leads me to something I have been wondering about. Texas has a law that states you can shot a criminal trying to flee from the scene of a crime.
Does that mean Texans can sit at the border and shot anyone crossing over? And not go to jail for it?

We have enough legal ones--we do not need over 2000 Illegal sex offenders.--PERIOD. People who say this is not a good reason to secure the borders should have their head examine. And all who are here should be screened. this is disgusting. And the bleeding hearts-with their "so you have them here"-you are disgusting! A disgrace. How many more have to be hurt because of people like you. I read if you go back post--"4 victims a day" done by illegals. Where is your heart for them? What if it were your kid?

What is our world coming to? The scariest part of that is there are so many out there who have not been detected and also so many parents who are part of the problem. And yet you have people who will leave their beautiful little children with anybody saying they are my friends, they would never do that to my child. Pfffffffffff!
Get a clue people don't give out personal information on the net, don't let just anyone watch your children, don't let your small children go to public washrooms or parks by themselves, don't bring your drunken friends home to spend the night, don't bring your new boy friend home and let him babysit your kids, don't have a party, get drunk and go to sleep with your drinking buddies still in your house. Take the time to keep your children and yourselves safe.

It's one way of interpreting statistics. Note that this was an *estimate*, based on extrapolation. Nowhere does it say that this is actual fact.
She concluded that, based on a figure of 12 million illegal immigrants and the fact that more of this population is male than average, sex offenders among illegals make up a higher percentage than offenders in the general population.

Someone has posted a credible link here before to show that information is the truth.
And cindy.....I saw the picture as well...the guy changed the picture, he had a "mexican" flag draped over the side of his BMP. I looked squarely at it and Know what i saw. It was picture number 6 in his set. The flag had creases on it as if it was folded tightly when i saw it hanging from the vehicle. Creases like it was folded to fit into his vest before he put it there. She is not a fool like you are saying. She knows what she saw. He also had the pictures of the other vehicles too but there was definitely ONE that showed what she said she saw.

I live on an Island with a high number of sex offenders in concentrated areas obviously and maybe out of 100's and 100's of offenders very few are even immigrants,and I live in Texas.

I can believe it ... and when I searched in the databases for my little area, I found 167 sex offenders ... all of them with Hispanic names, ALL of them ... I don't know if they were legal or illegal of course, but Hispanic they were to a man ... and no, that's not a racist statement, that is what I consider a shocking fact!!
