.You cannot treat your cat at home and you may not need to take her to a vet. Have you had a thermometer up her rear end? A cat's temperature is normal around 102 degrees. If it is 104, 05, or 06, she needs a vet immediately and should be wrapped in a warm, wet towel for the trip there.

Kitty colds are usually caused by viruses and they resolve themselves as ours do. If you cat has not eaten today or yesterday then you should think about a vet tomorrow morning.

DO NOT under any circumstances give your cat a human medication. An aspirin can kill a cat in 24 hours. It destroys their livers. That goes for tylenol, motrin, advil, antihistamines

Never give a cat aspririn!!Some cats, just like humans, are actually allergic to aspirin or can have bleeding disorders that are exacerbated by this drug. In larger doses aspirin cannot be broken down because cats are deficient in a liver enzyme called UDP-glucuronyl transferase. This causes toxic metabolites of aspirin to accumulate in the body and make your cat very sick or even cause death. Your cat probably has a upper respitory infection. She needs to go the vet and be given the proper antibiotic.

Please take her to the vet. It could be something more serious than a cold, and the vet will take her temperature, and run tests to find out the best course of treatment. Then follow his orders to the letter. Hope your cat has a fast recovery. Best wishes.
