I plan on making it a parody of the BS Christ Cultist bible but have some good examples of faithless morality and scientific facts.

I haven't decided if it will be an Ann Coulter style kick to the groin of religion or a genuine attempt to bring some understanding of the Atheistic mind to their detractors.

I was leaning toward the later since it would have more of a chance to be read by Christ Cultists and other cults who insist on demonizing their intellectual superiors.

What do you think?

I think it's been done a number of times, no? e.g. check out http://www.biblechronicles.org/ or
http://www.landoverbaptist.org/ or even http://skepticsannotatedbible.com/ (latter is not a parody). theonion.com has some excellent bible-based parody stuff in their archive (theonion.com have very clever people working there)

Great idea! For several reasons.

(1) Athiests, with their own Bible, would finally reach the cult status so long denied them.
(2) Athiesm could finally be introduced into the study of comparative religion where it belongs.
(3) It would give anyone interested in your side of the theistic question (after all it is our question) some written material to hold you to.

I make these points because I see no literary or philosophic merit (nor scientific position) in your diatribes thus far. If you could come up to the status of Harvard Lampoon I might buy your book.

I'm the market your talking about Jack. I wonder if you're up to it.

You are in denial, or your conscience is seared. Man is the only being that has any concept of morality or integrity to the core of intellectual and emotional exchange. Try as you might to denounce the Truth, there will come a day when you will meet your maker...The Greatest Scientist of all. The idea of eat, drink and be merry is just like a child that eats only candy because it tastes good and then the child's teeth falls out. That child will pay for the decisions it makes in the end. Consider your ways.

Go for it and it may be a good seller within the small group of atheists that may buy it. Why not try being a little more creative and write a book that has some value instead of a rehash of what had already been written about a zillion times over.

I think your idea is stupid. Anyone who believes in a diety has quite a few problems trying to wrap their heads around the fact there are people who don't accept the existence of a god or gods.

I have problems with people wanting to stick it to Christians when they are no where near the problem that muslims are.

In case you're wondering I am an Atheist.

I bet it would, unfortunately.
It wouldn't hold up to the truth though.
What is it that's made you so oppressive toward Christianity?

And I agree, an atheist's Bible is a complete oxymoron.

I doubt you have the capacity to write anything remotely intelligent.

And you only have 4 myspace friends. That's kind of sad, really...

Sure, in Hell....

By the way, you are not my intellectual superior by any stretch of the words intellectual or superior...

I only bother answering your imbecilic, unthought-provoking, Atheist twit questions because:

(A.) They amuse me and (B.) It is a quick 2 points.
