Think about it how old were you when you snuck your parents porn or started looking at it. They are just curious just talk to them tell them you understand they have questions and you are there to answer them. Because if you go against them on it they will find it somewhere else. At least if you talk to them about it they feel like they can talk to you when they are ready to know more and I would rather have my child feel comfortable talking to me then going out there and doing much worse just to go against me. At least this way you know.

Probably depends on the material I found. It's perfectly natural for teenagers to be curious. If it was on a laptop I'd probably set up a security measure on the laptop so that porn can't be downloaded or viewed because the internet has some nasty stuff on there. If it was just an ordinary dirty magazine I'd probably leave it there and tell them if they ever have any questions or want to talk that I'm there for them.

First of all my kids wont have internet access unless its for school work. Ive been on the net now for 2 years (yes I know Im behind on times) and not a day has gone by that I havnt recieved some sord of sexually natured email, IM, or pop up. So as for magazines I will simply explain to my kids that there bodys may be saying one thing but if they want to truley serve God then thats not the sord of thing they need to be looking at.

Number one bye bye laptop! Raging hormones is not a viable excuse. As a parent of a 16 year old, if I found porn on his laptop, laptop would be taken away first. Then he would be grounded til he could earn back the trust he threw away. Porn at any age is disgusting. Something I will not tolerate in my home for any reason.

I found my teens porn, I didn't say a word, browse through the books to see what exactly he was looking at, had a male friend of mine bring him over a maxiam magazine and remind him that what he sees in the books are mans fantasy's not the reality of how a women wants to be treated or likes all the time

well if your daughter is looking at porn...(females) than I'd question her about it. your son...its normal...my sisters have came across this with all their sons. I have 8 nephews. And they were watching porn or clipping photos of the chicks in the magz. Its normal for everyone to be curious about this stuff...but I'd ask how they got it and where they got it. Because they are not OLD enough to be looking at this stuff. I can understand the situation at being curious and wanting to know...but if your gonna have sex....talk to your parents and tell them what is going on...and make sure that you and your partner are having safe sex. If your not having sex yet...wait...please wait...that way you don't make any mistakes that you'll regret...trust me at the time you don't think they are mistakes, but later on in life; by the time your 21 or 25 you'll regret everything. You won't have much time to party or have fun or even grow up...Think about all that before actually doing it with out protection. But seriously....there is nothing wrong with curiousity.

Magazine no big deal if it is tasteful. They are curious and I'd rather them have a healthy out let.
Porn on computers however is dangerous and gross so that is a complete no go. This really happened to me. I found porn from my 15 yr old boy on the computer, he got punished and an hour lecture, and a subscription to Playboy. Good luck on this one. Everyone will have a different opinion. :-)

I would sit down with them and talk to them about it! There would need to be some disciplinary action taken, but i wouldn't become hitler! I would take away the computer, if they need it, they will be under supervision.
Porn is sick, it enslaves you, it wrecks families and honestly is a plague that should be avoided at all costs! It is an addiction, you may say it's not! Try putting it away for a few days, i bet you would be wanting to find porn, or look at it again!
That whole raging hormones things is crap! I know plently of youth who made it though being a teen without crap like that! I was one of them!

Try to remember to when you were that age and what was going thru your head. Did you have a stash of porn? Or at least consider acquiring one? I don't think you want your child to fear you, and if you are willing to accept his or her interest the same way you accepted your own (assuming you were interested in it as a kid), just pretty much letting it slide might not be a bad idea.

Bring it out and make them show you what they were looking at, they will be so embarrassed they will not do it any more.

You can take the laptop away for a while they were not using it responsibly. who cares if they bought it with their own money you are the parent and your job cannot be circumvented because they bought something and abused it.
