If everybody is a Christian these days, then that is wonderful. It means the world is coming to God and Jesus.

Generally, Christianity isn't bad. I know many well meaning, useful people who genuinely live 'Christian' principles. I thoroughly enjoy their company and discussions. They are sane, secure and kind people.
Evangelical Conservatives are a different story. My experience is that they tend to focus more on the later works of the New Test. and the more strict comments of the Old Test. Their work is more a show and they are less concerned with 'helping' someone than 'saving' someone. Caring the message to others is a badge of honor and rejection is almost welcome because they can say..."told you so" or "they just don't get it" leaving them with a nice comfy feeling of superiority. They compassion of Christ eludes them for a staunch support of the "protestant work ethic". This movement give a strong sense of outward security. That's why people like it. You are given all the answers and you don't necessarily have to look at yourself.
Cheers!

Not all retards are Christian, and not all Christians are retarded. But there's a little of each, everywhere you need it, if you want it bad enough and look for it.

I'm afraid your are mistaken on two counts (a) not everyone is a Christian, and (b) it is not retarded to be a Christian.
Please be aware that there is scientific and intellectual evidence for the existence of God (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/godsci/evidence.htm)
I used to be an atheist. Over a period of time however, I grew convinced of the existence of the Christian God, and ultimately committed my life to Christ (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/chri/testimony/seek.html ).
Cordially,
John

That's your view..however many including me feel differently. TRY to be more tolerant of others by not calling people who don't believe what you do.."retards"
