i don't know why the .mil part isn't showing up in the answer.
my brother was stationed there for 3 years.
actually, the below answer isn't quite accurate. For example, email addresses for air force personnel deployed in Balad, Iraq end with @blab.centaf.af.mil

there is a good chance their email is firstname.lastname@ramstein.af.mil...if they have a really common name (like john smith) you might be out of luck because there may be more than one on base...

Most AF email addresses are firstname.lastname@base.af.mil (i.e. firstname.lastname@ramstein.af.mil)
