Get a person patient or family member or just somebody you know to haveyou do there hair FOR FREE!!! And take pictures of them and take your time go on th ecomputer and look for a number liketo hollywood or something find the address and send it to them and if they like them they will maybe hire you. Go to Beauty school, work for a salon a fews yrs to get excellent in all phases, get a salon, work hard, build up a GOOD reputation. do the Beauty Show, platform work. donate your talent for good causes, get out and be out there to meet people in the Business, if you are lucky, you will meet someone who will pull you in to the business you want to do, It is Hard work, took me 20 yrs to do all the work and get to where I wanted to work at. Cold interviews, forget it, they are a dime a dozen, you have to be beyond excellent and know aspects of your trade, and knowing and handling people with different personalities , and performers who may demand certain ways of doing their air etc and dealing with bigs egos are a BIG plus..
