i have been knowing this girl for 8 months and i have liked her ever since i met her. we hang out constantly and she tells me that i'm the only person she acts herself around. we were talking and she said that she thought i liked her with a disapproving jesture but everyday it seems like she flirts with me. i have never been good around girls and honestly, she's the first one i have been around for this long. im just afraid of not being able to see her if i tell her how i feel. she has broken up with her boyfriend and i was the first person she told but about a month later she has a new boyfriend who i feel doesn't do half as much as i do

Sorry dude, but that makes you officially, "the friend". The friend never gets the girl, he just gets his heart crushed time and again and sticks around for more.
