I would talk to her pediatrician - he/she can alleviate any fears you may have.

as long as you're taking her for usual verify united statesthen i dont think of you have something to rigidity approximately, the medical expert might element it out in any different case. My daughter has weighed 28 pounds because of the fact she became into 2 and he or she would have the ability to be 4 in July, she hasn't placed on any weight in 2 years yet she is totally healthful.

What does her doctor say? My cousin's 2 girls were like that, and eventually the doctor put them on growth hormone so they'd grow a little taller. It did help. They're both over 5' now. You may want to get a few opinions from different specialist.
Although, if she's a talented gymnast, maybe this could be to her advantage!

uhh... kind of. If she's only 48 lbs, that's not good (unless your talking about kg.) and 3ft 11in is really short. if she really is ok after being checked out by a pediatrician then that's great

Just to be on the safe side I would have her checked for diabetes and any thyroid conditions she might have developed. I know when I was that age I was very overweight too. My mom took me to the doctor and had me checked but nothing was wrong. It never hurts to check though.
