2 year old love stickers and little lollipops.
I would make a sticker chart using poster board. Write her name of it and decorate it will lots of color. Tell her that if she goes potty on the chair you will give her a sticker or a lollipop. Let her choose.
Here are some signs that your child is ready for the potty:
She can stay dry for a several hours or even overnight.
She knows when she has wet or soiled her diaper, and knows what "pee", "poop", "potty", and similar words mean.
She shows independence by wanting to do things by herself.
She can pull her pants down and up.
She asks questions and/or shows in interest when others go "potty".
Have her go into the bathroom with you when you use the potty. Make sure you tell her what you are doing. Give yourself a lollipop or sticker after you go potty to show her that she will in fact get something.
Do not use Pull Ups. They are too much like a diaper and very absorbent, and tend to confuse many children. My recommendation is to use plain cotton training underpants. These training pants are similar to normal underwear, but they have a little extra padding in the crotch area. Usually you can find these in any store that sells children's clothing.
When she goes pee/poop in the underwear make sure you do not scold her as this will scare her in using the potty even more. Just take her into the bathroom and sit her on the potty as you remove the wet clothing. Tell her calmly that she needs to go pee and poop in the potty.
First thing in the morning is always the best time when kids have to really pee, so take her to the potty and have her sit there for alittle bit.

You tell them everytime you change their diaper that it's about time to start using the potty. You go to the store and let her pick out a new potty to use. You let her use it in any room she wants to to start out. You ask her every time she comes up to you, "Do you need to potty?" You give her a reward every time she does (I gave my son a prize drawer full of candy and little toys, he could pick one every time he used the potty) You go buy new "big girl panties" when you buy the potty. You make her wear panties no matter if she pees in them all day long, she will learn quickly that pee running down her legs is yucky and she will get to the potty faster and more often then if you use pull ups. Washing panties is also not as bad as changing diapers no matter how many pairs a day it takes at first. I know that last part sounds messy but it only lasts a few days and they learn fast that way. I'm sure others will tell you other things, but this has potty trained several kids of both sexes so it does work. Last bit of advice is to give her time to decide she wants to wear her new panties before you try too much, if they don't want to do it they won't and it will just frusterate everybody involved.....but if they do want the reward then that will motivate them much more than anything else. Hope that helped and made some sense. Best wishes

I have two girls 3 and 4. I bought a kitchen timer at first. I set it for one hour intervels. Each time it went off I would say " Potty time", this got them used to going to the potty and even if they didn't go we still went through the steps. When they actually went potty they were allowed to pick a treat. I kept a plastic container with stickers, candy, little toys. Then I took away the diapers and went with big girl underwear, except at night time or nap. The feeling of the wetness when the had an accident was enforcement enough. They hated it. I hope this helps you. Just keep working at it.

GO NAKED!! This sounds odd at first, but has worked for me--twice. I potty trained my two year old son (who is now three), and my two year old sister (who's still two) very easily this way. My mom was having so much trouble with my sister she asked for my help. She went on a trip to Chicago for a week, and came back to a well potty trained two year old little girl.
If you are a stay at home mom this isn't so hard. Buy some panties. Pull ups are a HUGE waste of time. They don't allow her to get uncomfortable enough to want to do anything differently. My son and sister would "go" as soon as their bottoms hit the pull up. My sister even went as far as to bring me the pull up every time she had to go. I took off the pull up and explained we don't go on the floor. If you have to go, tell mommy or (sister), and we'll go in the potty. THEY WILL GO ON THE FLOOR A TIME OR TWO. This is expected and actually very good. When they do so the first time, explain that we don't go on the floor, make them help clean it up, and continue with your day. When--not if--they do it the second time, discipline in whatever way your family sees fit. Again, explain that we don't go on the floor, make them help clean it up, and so on. They will eventually come to you and say the magic words "I have to____". Some have more accidents than others. My son had SEVERAL more than my sister.
If your children are in daycare send them in undies. If they aren't uncomfortable, they have no reason to stop. If you don't like naked, still, use undies at home. When he does have an acident, let him be uncomfortable for a while, he'll begin to really hate the feeling and stop doing it.
Remember which ever method you do decide to go with CONSISTENCE is the key!!! It's some work, but man, when oyu can go down the baby isle and not even look at the pampers, you'll be SO glad!

Once Upon A Potty for her! look it up on amazon, it worked miracles with mine, but make sure to buy the potty chair that matches the one in the show. Target sells them, if you match it then she gets the right idea about what to do and how to do it!

Use an egg timer and every half hour take her potty if she goes give her a treat if she doesn't she doesn't get a treat. Put her in underwear a week later and don't regress. Use the egg timer till she can tell you she has to go before she has an accident.

if you are consistent then its really pretty easy, I had mine done at 18 months (peepee, poopoo was a little later) first let her go naked, if she's like most little girls then she will be self conscious and not want to go so she will want to go on the potty. Then about every 30 min. or so have her sit on the potty. When she goes then you make a huge deal of it. clap sing, dance etc...

I have two girls and I found what worked best was not to have any panties or diaper on at all. Being "free" makes them much more conscious of their bodily happenings. If they do pee on themselves it is not pleasant and they will quickly learn when you take them too the toilet each time it happens. I just found it best to stick to them like glue when they were "free" and it only took about a week with both.
