I'm a very nice girl. And I've liked this guy for about 6 months. I think he might have a clue to this. But not for sure. He's flirted with me before then was just friendly but not in a flirty way. Making more eye contact. But as soon as I tried to converse with him personally he acted really shy and nervous. But then the next day when I past him he looked and me but I could tell he felt awkward like he didn't want to see me. But then an hour later was trying to get my attention and looking at me and smiling. But then I feel was trying to not make eye contact at all. This went on for about a week. Then I ran into him again and had to hand him a paper for school. He just stared in my eyes for like 5 seconds with a serious look. then looked down and laughed nervously. But now I feel he's not looking at me at all again. I don't want to be mean but how do I handle this situation. Do I just treat him the way he treats me? I'm so nice it's hard for me. Opinions please?!!!

I don't know if he ever meant to lead me on. But he's looked in my eyes and down at my lips also before. Maybe I've read to much into this. Because I wanted to believe he liked me too. I just feel I've gotten some mixed messages. I've tried ignoring him. It's so hard for me though. Yet I can't continue like this. It hurts to much!!!

I mean he does seem to be kind of a shy guy. But I'm not for sure that's the reason for his actions toward me.

He's game playing...he's either teasing you, or he's so mixed up he's playing himself. In any event, just let it go, if this has gone on for six months and what you described is all you've had, you don't want it leading to anything anyway....if he's this mixed up towards you, he's mixed up, period, and all that will happen is you will get sucked into his craziness.

it sounds like he is having mixed emotions and hasnt got exactly what he wants in order. the best thing i think to do is just ask him how he feels about you, i know that he seems to be shy so maybe if you write him a letter and let him read it while you or no one else is around it may be easier for him. ask him to write you back and let you know but tell him that if he dont want to be more than friends, to please not let it ruin your friendship together. i know i was the shy type and it was always easier for me in letters. good luck. hope everything works out for ya.

Talk to him. Try to get him alone so you don't embarass him in front of his friends. Tell him you like him and want to spend time with him. Ask him how he feels about you, but DON'T PUT HIM "ON THE SPOT." Find a way to make him relax or you might never know the truth.

don't worry, it happens to the best of us. try to get involved in new and exciting activities. this will help your mind to not over think TOO much on this dude. it also helps to be honest with yourself and the dude. just tell him you like him and see what happens. remember, it can go either way. note: your a special person as it seems and you dont need a guy to complete you. DONT BEAT AROUND THE BUSH, JUST TACKLE IT!!! good luck. : )

Make hime jealous by going out with other men. Don't talk to him, do not call him or go out with him. Make him realize how available you are to other people then he'll stop playing games.
