I like the name but not the way its spelt...so I want to know what other people think?

Maybe you should try behindthename.com for alternative names. If the 'name' that you are considering for your child gets nothing but confusion from others as to pronunciation or spelling, then it may not be a good idea to use it. There are many unusual and beautiful names that start with the letter A, and you might find something you like better if you look around a while.
You don't want your child to have to constantly explain their name as they grown up, either.

Abcidee, absity, absitee, abcitee, abcity, abbsadie, absadie, abbcidee, abbcydee , abcydee, absydee, absyty, too many more combinations to too type. just keep plying with it and you will find one you like. Although Abcde is the most phoenetic...but you are right it is a stupid spelling! lol
