People can give you a list of averages all day , the only way to find out what your average is , is to go to the driving range and practice with each club it all depends on your swing speed not averages people tell you .

When I first started playing golf. a general rule of thumb was about 90 yds for the pitching wedge and add about 10 yds for each club going up the list. I.E. 100 for a 9 iron, 110 for the 8, etc
Of course, you will have to work out for yourself what your yardages are..

With so many makes and models and materials being used for the clubs and the ball, it is hard to tell. The only way is to practice with each club to determine the distance you can hit. There is nothing called a standard anymore.
