Just eat when you are hungry until you are full. theres a reason you feel hungry or full. if you feel like you are eating to much, slowly decrease portions (one or two bites or so per meal per day for a week or so or until you think it is a healthy amount) and then rely on hunger and fulness

enough to stop him from feeling hungry
a well balenced diet of real food ,not packet snacks or sweets.
lots of fruit and vegetables.
and not so much as to make him fat as so many are these days
i wonder how all those billions of people survived ,before doctor spock or food piramids
and all 15 years old are different
i notice that you do not state his weight ,race ,and stature
the rate of devellopment is also individual
and does he do a lot of sports and burns up a lot of energy or does he sit behind a computor all day
all of this is relevant.
are you sure that you are qualified to do this job .how has he survived uptil now.????????????????

since everyone is different you can personalize a food pyramid at www.mypyramid.gov. just enter age, sex, and physical activity to get an estimate of what and how much you should eat.
Also, enough to get him or her full can sometimes be too much. i have this problem with my 15 yr old daughter so i plan to seek medical advice since she doesn't seem to get full ever. i want to find out if she has a medical condition causing her not to feel full.
