as a scientist, i hope that God affords me the ability to learn all of the things that escape me, now. that means traveling to other planets, etc.
that and spend time with my family and friends.

I don't believe in a fairy tale world with everyone wearing a pasted grin and playing elevator music. For that matter I don't believe in a sulphur and brimstone world where people are getting poked by a little red guy wielding a pitchfork. Those are basically people's imagination put to work on something that is totally unimaginable. I do believe in light and dark. If we do get eternal life, I believe that you become part of that division depending on what or who you are during life. Light, universal truth, supreme enlightenment, etc. Nobody really knows what is at the end of this journey and what happens in the next. I do know that I will get to find out though.

I don't know where this idea of living on a planet comes from. I don't see it anywhere in the scriptures. It does say that His throne will sit in Jerusalem and that He will rule for a thousand years after the tribulation. Otherwise, the dead will live with Him and He is in heaven. Christ said that He is preparing a place for His bride (the church) and that He will return to take us there. That seems to me to be off planet.

If you believe in an eternal life and God, you directly believe that everywhere in this universe, each other planet is God's house. Believers thinks so, don't they?

I tend to believe that there are many, many planets out there that the angels have prepared for the children of God to dwell on.

As the Bible says, you'll be in Paradise on Earth. It teaches that if you survive you will have eternity to follow your dreams in peace and security.

Heaven and Earth will become one and we will all live within his presence. God is not a person like us so it isn't a house like what we think.

Jesus said he was going to prepare a mansion for us...
I don't have a clue what he meant by that.
