Not that I believe that is true but I never heard that they couldnt have sex with them again, afterall they can have more than 1 wife without being dead, it is there personal choice if they take more than one wife, in there religion/culture

THe 72 virgin thing is not in the Quran, this is how the Quran describes the Afterlife for those who are granted it:
40:40] Whoever commits a sin is requited for just that, and whoever works righteousness,male or female, while believing, these will enter Paradise wherein they receive provisions without any limits.
