From the viewpoint of someone who is now 61 and can't believe it, "No, 29 is not as good as it gets." You have lots more to do, lots of love and life to experience. It's mostly a matter of attitude, and that can be adjusted. So, "Happy birthday! And many happy returns of the day." Think of this as the start of a new year, and make some resolutions on how to make your life better. Happy New Year!

What you're afraid of getting older? Oh come on it's an everyday occurance and everybody does it. If you don't look any different than you did 7 yrs ago well then what's the problem? You should be thankful you don't look your age cause as you do get older you still won't look your age. What the heck is the big deal of being 30? I've been there done that it's just another day in the life of you. You know what I got when I was 40 and from my then husband "you're as old as dirt." Nice one huh? Anyhow just keep remembering"You're As Young As You Feel!" And it's the truth. Live by that and you'll never get old.

It is as good as it gets ONLY if you let it be that way. I fretted over my 30th birthday to the point of depression. Then I realized my bad feelings were not going to slow down my aging. So, now I accept every year as a gift to live longer, and at 68, I am still going strong. Furthermore, I do not intend to stop living. My life is wonderful and gets better every year. For example, I now have NINE grandchildren, seven of whom are under six years of age. They are energetic and fun to be around. The twins are a year old and walking, and the baby is four months old and still too small to do more than smile. Now, with all of them around, how can I get old?? can't!!

I am only 26 and I'm going to say that yes it does get better. My husband is 38 and I know that he is a lot happier now than he was at 29. Even though when I met him he was still celebrating the anniversays of his 29th birthday. And things don't nessecarily get better or worse they get different. As you age you have different experiences and meet different people. As long as you don't let your life go stagnant then it will get better. And remember there is always retirement to look forward to.

I am 35 and I feel that even though I am putting more years behind me, every year I have had many more experiences and gain a bit of wisdom and understanding of life. As good as it gets is what you will settle for. The sky is the limit. If you have your health, and you are breathing air, then that seems pretty good to me.

There is this saying that if you keep thinking the same as you have in the past you will get the same results in the future. So my advice is to start thinking in a new way. Not a different way just a better version of yourself. Like if you think negative think positively.
