Descriptions of rewards in heaven and punishments in hell are only EARTHLY descriptions of what we can expect in the afterlife. The human mind cannot otherwise possibly comprehend what lies beyond this life.

The 72 virgins in not part of Islam. It was made up to get poor, and uneducated men to do things to try to get a better life. Fanatics are in all religions. And this bit about suicide-----this is a sin. If one commits suicide, Mohammad said he would spend eternity doing the same thing over and over and over. You would like to keep blowing yourself up for all eternity?
Good men and women get whatever is their heart's desire in Paradise.

the thing about the 72 virgins is not in the Quran. Men and women get whatever they want in the afterlife. Whatever there hearts desired. A women and man believer are the same in God's sight. Allah loves his slaves.

dear sister,
Quran does not speaks about men getting 72 virgins, instead it promises companions (not virgins) to every one who do righteous deeds (whether male or female) and at one place quran speaks :
those who go to heaven will meet their relatives , spouses there if
they (relatives , spouses) were righteous.
so at no place did quran favour men in getting reward and quran is the only authentic source of information in Islam.

yeah we get whoever we desire... some hot male models maybe if we want...
in the afterlife, if we go to heaven, we will have everything we love given to us, from castles to men to foood, everyhing we ever desired, and God knows what every person desires..
However if anyone ends up in hell...thats a different story..
