Homemade tartar sauce,Mix mayo with sweet pickle relish,fresh lemon juice,a little yellow mustard,some bottled hourseradish and chopped fresh dill.Put the smoked oyster on a Ritz cracker and drizzle with the sauce.Garnish with a tiny sprig of dill and some lemon zest if desired.Enjoy:)

i would go asian... something acidic and sweet and spicy!

try a lite(meaning not strong on the teriyaki-diluted with water) sweet honey teriyaki sauce with chilies.

Simple BBQ Sauce

1/2 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 cups ketchup
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
In a medium bowl, mix together onion soup mix, sugar, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce. Do not use until the last few minutes of cooking, because this sweet sauce will burn if cooked for too long or over too high heat.


Blackberry BBQ Sauce

1/2 cup blackberry preserves
1 1/2 cups ketchup
1/8 cup brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon mustard powder
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
In a medium bowl, mix together blackberry preserves, ketchup, brown sugar, cayenne pepper, mustard powder, and red wine vinegar. Use to baste pork or beef ribs while grilling.



Honey Garlic BBQ Sauce

1 cube vegetable bouillon
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons vegetarian Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon dried minced onion flakes
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon white sugar
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 slice lemon
1/4 cup honey
4 cloves garlic, minced
Dissolve vegetable bouillon in boiling water. In a large saucepan over medium heat combine vegetable broth, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, onion flakes, salt, sugar, cayenne pepper, oil, lemon, honey and garlic. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 cups ketchup
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 1/2 tablespoons dry mustard

2 dashes hot pepper sauce
In a blender, combine brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, water and Worcestershire sauce. Season with mustard, paprika, salt, pepper, and hot pepper sauce. Blend until smooth.



Honey BBQ Sauce Recipe

2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon minced shallot
1/2 cup honey
2 cups barbecue sauce, your choice
3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
In a medium, nonporous bowl, combine the garlic, shallot, honey, barbecue sauce and cilantro. Mix well and pour onto meat or poultry. Discard any leftover sauce.



Mustard Based BBQ Sauce

1 cup prepared yellow mustard
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup white vinegar
ground black pepper to taste
In a saucepan over medium heat, stir together the mustard, honey, brown sugar and vinegar. Season with black pepper. Bring to a boil, and let simmer for 5 minutes. Pour over cooked pulled pork or beef. If you want more flavor, let the meat simmer in the sauce for about 30 minutes.

1/2 cup chile sauce
1/2 cup rum
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon ground dry mustard
ground black pepper to taste
In a saucepan over low heat, mix the brown sugar, chile sauce, rum, soy sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, dry mustard, and pepper. Simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool, and refrigerate until ready to use.
