to get rid of the abscess mix equal parts of baking soda and salt and dab a bit of wet cotton wool in it then stick between tooth and gum and leave overnight. this will draw the poison out and take away the pain. remember to spit poison out and rinse out mouth with salty water. still need tooth out tho or it will come back. c a dentist

I am Alton's wife, Lorraine. I have had three abscessed teeth. I have gotten over them each time by eating a pound and a half of leafy greens a day. The first and second times I ate 1 bunch or 8 ounces of romaine lettuce for breakfast, or in the morning, 8 ounces of raw broccoli for lunch, and 8 ounces of romaine lettuce in the evening. It starts working immediately, but takes a week or so to completely get over it. This time I couldn't chew because my mouth was too sore, so I have a bunch of lettuce and 4 ounces of cruciferous leafy greens (broccoli, kale, collards, turnip greens, mustard greens) in a green smoothie for breakfast. I blend them with a handful of strawberries, a pear, a banana, a small handful of walnuts, and 1 or 1 1/2 cups of water. You can use any fruit. This is just what I have available right now. For lunch I have a blended salad. In that I put the lettuce, 4 more ounces of cruciferous leafy greens, a tomato, part of a red (or other color) bell pepper, a slice of onion, a clove of garlic, a cucumber, and a half of an avocado. My tooth is almost better. It has been about a week since I started treating it. I have a big hole in 2 teeth so I try to eat this way all the time, but because of trips, etc. I wasn't doing it. That's why I got an infection. I try to get at least 1 pound of leafy greens a day. It works for me. Good luck. The first time I started this, I found the information on the internet, but I have not been able to find it again.

I hate to tell you but there is no way to make this better without a dentist. In fact, if the tooth is truly abscessed it will only get worse without medical care. Abscessed teeth have the possibility of causing a severe infection if not properly cared for. THis really is a serious medical situation. Call a dentist, explain the problem, and see if something can be worked out. Try the local health department. At the very least you need antibiotics.

You should call around and tell them your situation and if they can't help you ask who may be able to. Keep calling different dentists, I'm sure you will find someone that you can at least work out a payment plan with...
You need to have your tooth fixed by a doctor, that's all there is to that.
Maybe you could get some kind of financial help or some kisd of temp. insurance through your local government.

You'll have to go to a dentist at some point soon. Use ore-gel to nub the pain. Check around and see what the costs might be and get there asap. I have had an abscessed tooth and it wasn't fun.

You might want to look up a Free Dental Clinic in your area. They are around. Hope you feel better soon. Some people, I just read about, said cold water helped, then others said hot seemed to work better........also, brushing with baking soda, rinsing with peroxide/water half and half or so, might help eliminate some of the bacteria problem????? Best thing: look for a free clinic.

This works...go to the health food store and buy some Aloe Vera Gel (the pure kind you can drink) and place some in your mouth and hold it next to the tooth...it will draw out the infection and releive the pain. You will be amazed at how fast it will heal your tooth.
