I am planning to buy a 5 gallon air tank for about 20 bucks for airbrushing. I don't really know much about air tanks and how they work so bear with me. Assume the air tank is filled to about 130 psi. How can i regulate the air to come out at an adjustable 15 to 70 psi? Is that possible. And if so, will there be any air wasted? Is there a better way? Let me mention that it is for air brushing and I need it to be very constant air flow. Thank you for your responses!!

You'll need a pressure regulator which is a adjustable device that will let you reduce that air pressure. You'll need a gauge on the outlet side of the regulator to tell you where to set the thing. The regulator, gauge and fittings will probably run you more than the tank. The regulator will be "sized" to fit the tank outlet orifice.

You should be able to go to most hardware stores or Lowes or Home Depot and purchase a line pressure regulator. They are quite inexpensive and you can regulate the air anywheres from 5# to any wheres in between. And once you set it it will always give the same line pressure until you redo it.
