Yes, Both Prophets (May Peace and Blessings of ALLAH Be Upon Them) ARE on The Same Side, 'coz They brought The Message from the Same GOD, and both of Them had The Same Message, except for the fact that Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him) brought The Extension to The Message delivered by Prophet Jesus (Peace Be Upon Him) ............. for an example, One Basic Message that Both gave (Most Important Message) that GOD is One and NOT to join any partners with GOD.
It doesn't matter that historically They Lived Centuries apart, 'coz They are Joined because of the Same Message that Both Delivered. Peace to All.
In response to extremelyrad..., dont copy Verses as they are on ur site, its better if u read the Verses from The Holy Quran, and ask any Muslim Scholor abt the context of it instead of pin-pointing on Verses WITHOUT ANY CONTEXT ............ i cant explain to u right here the whole context, if u want u can read it from this link http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ag3.hgCgnDdONwEQu8dFgfDsy6IX?qid=20060804150107AAMqwnQ
or even better if u research abt it urself, but i'll tell u this that These Verses were revealed in the State of War (which commander won't order his troops to kill the enemies), instead according to u, i guess the commander will ask his troops to "put down the weapons and lets talk peace with the enemies" and of course enemies will slay u in an instant, then ........ Its such an impotent thought of NOT Fighting for ur beliefs .......... My suggestion to u is READ THE HOLY QURAN, 'coz u just forgot to mention the very next Verse (from Sura'ah Tawbah Verse No. 6) that orders the troops for Mercy in a beautiful way that NO Generous commander in this era of warfare could even think of.

Well, they were totally different. Jesus was asking people to love and forgive each others, he never been once in war or such thing. He was innocent, and pure. Even when they arrested him,he didn't fight or resist. Where mohamad was seeking victories by having war and attacking others, he was sex maniac ( married to an eight years old girl ), and pushing people to follow isalm by forces and devoting them. He was concentrating on sex all the time, and is obviously found in their beliefs. He taught them what is called JIHAD,which is the main causing problems in the world like what happened in United States on 11 Sep 2001, London 2005,Spain 2005, Iraq for thee past 3 years till now, Lebanon recently, and Germany Hamburg train station on the 19th of August 2006...

No, absolutely not. Mohammed denies the divinity of Jesus, but the Bible teaches that Jesus is God. (Hebrews 1:8, John 8:58, John 1:1, etc...) Furthermore, Mohammed denied the resurrection of Jesus. Also, Jesus said to "love your enemies", "turn the other cheek" and "love your neighbor as yourself". Mohammed wrote in the Quran that muslims should kill people who are not muslims, i.e. Surah chapter 9. Mohammed taught hatred against Jews and Christians. www.equip.org

Mohammed taught that Jesus was merely a prophet of God, one of many. Islam denies that God has a son, who died on a cross, rose again, and is the only way to salvation.
Therefore, the god of Islam cannot possibly be the God of the bible.
Mohammed denies Jesus as savior, therefore Mohammed and Jesus are worlds apart. Mohammed is what is called a false prophet. Any are who teach about God but leave Jesus out as the only way to the Father.

Not same side but different paths. Imagine all of the past religious leaders standing on the edge of a large circle all facing the center of the circle. The center of the circle being a bright light representing each leaders vision of god. Each leader holds a string that connects them with the center of the circle. Followers being faithful to their religion, (true religions where they don't harm others and strive to be their very best), travel from their leader into the center arriving at their GOD. The destination for all is the same, the journey is the difference.

How can Mohammed be for someone he curses?
I copied a few verses, but i suggest you go to the website link, to get a real feel for what is going on!
"Fight those who do not believe in Allah...And the Jews say Ezra is the son of God; and the Christians say Christ is the son of God; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; Allah's curse be on them; how they are turned away!" (Koran 9:29-30)
And fight with them until there is no more persecution and religion should be only for Allah (8:39)
When the sacred months have passed away, THEN SLAY THE IDOLATERS WHEREVER YOU FIND THEM, AND TAKE THEM CAPTIVES AND BESIEGE THEM AND LIE IN WAIT FOR THEM IN EVERY AMBUSH, then if they repent and keep up prayer [become believers] and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them (9:5)

Throughout history, there have been obvious clashes between religious groups, but what gets overlooked is the crodial realtionships between many Christian and Islamic religious leaders. I believe the Greek Orthodox protected Mohammed in his travels. There are many instances where travelling Christian clerics were invited to say mass in Mosques, while Imams were allowed use of churches for their devotions.
Some will always turn the most noble of beliefs to ill ends, while those of true faith and compassion preach more moderation. The trouble is, few listen to moderates when the extremists on all sides are so loud. (This is true of governments, media, and public opinion.)

According to Islam, they are both fighting for the same things. In the Muslim version of the "end times", Jesus returns...as a Muslim, and converts all the Christians to Islam. Then all the old Muslims and new Muslims get together and fight the armies of evil.
Of course, as evidenced by all the answers above, Christians think Mohammed was a heretic, and his followers are doomed to burn for eternity.

The earliest followers of Islam waged war on their enemies.
The earliest followers of Christianity were fed to lions by their enemies without putting up a fight.
If the actions of their followers are any indication, then Mohammed and Jesus were not on the same side.
