First of all, Jews don't tell anyone else to stop eating pork. They could care less what you eat, and you shouldn't care so much about what they eat. And second of all, circumcision (cutting off the FORESKIN of the penis, not the whole thing) began because it was cleaner and resulted in less infection, and symbolized a covenant with God. Many non-Jews also get circumsized because it is clean, and even though infections are more rare now because of advances in hygiene Jews continue to get circumsized because of the tradition and symbolism. Btw, Jesus was circumsized.

What they did do, as it is painfully obvious you're confused about, is follow in obedience to God the agreement between God and Abraham as an outward sign of compliance to the covenant and promise.

Brainiac, Jews do no cut off their penis. They remove the foreskin in a ritual called circumcision. They do it in obeyance of God. It was given to them to be a sign, setting them apart from gentiles (non-Jews) Geez...how ignorant can you be?

Get your facts straight.They don't cut their penis off.It's a Jewish ritual called circumcision. Besides that it's only the foreskin that's cut off.It's part of their religious beliefs just as any other culture have beliefs of their own.

jews aren't the only ones who remove their foreskin, i personally only know of one male who hasn't had this done and of those who did none of them are jews
