I think that other Churches should do what the Catholics do: Most of their churches offer you a choice of Mass schedule from Saturday evening (around 6 pm), and three schedules on Sunday around 8 am, 11 am and 1 pm. When I was a practicing Catholic, I thought it most convenient to go on Saturday evening, and then my religious obligation was over and was able to relax on Sunday. Depending on how much yakking a priest is in the mood for, a mass lasts somewhere between 30 to 45 minutes and then it's over.
Unfortunately, most Protestant churches not only don't offer that, but some even make you go to two services on Sunday and one service on Wednesday evenings, lasting about 90 minutes, and then you have to go to Sunday school for another 60 to 90 minutes, and there is no choosing whether you go in the morning or evening. If you don't show up one of those times, they want to know why. Protestant congregations are way too nosy.

I did as did my 3 children and husband.
I love to go to church. I can really feel a difference in my week if I have missed church for some reason. I get blessed everytime I am there.

I went to church today because I love God and I think he should be worshipped whether you're in the comfort of your home or out in public. When people worship God in public it shows that they aren't ashamed of God and who he is. They show the world how he affects their lifes and that takes courage which God gives to you.
I also enjoy being around others who love God as much as I do and it's a blessing when you get to meet someone who has found God or if you have shown God to them!
A church is a sacred place that welcomes everyone and is a place for people to gather and worship God together!

I overslept this morning but I really wanted to go to church, so I think that I will go today for the 7p.m. service. Church is uplifting and powerful, even if I don't go I still worship the Lord at home and read my Bible and pray, but it is so powerful to be around others who are praying and worshipping with you. Be Blessed!

Yall is not a word and you couldn't get me to go to church even if you paid me. Because that would compromise my values and I learned in Allied Health that the first step to saying no to peer pressure is to Not compromise my thoughts and beliefs...So sorry dearest. No church for I.

I went to church today to listen to a good sermon, to fellowship with the other older adults in my Bible study class, to pray for one another and to hear a good lesson on humility and to worship the Lord in music. And I did it out of obedience and love for my Jesus who commanded us to "forsake not the assembling of yourselves together" I learned once again that the mercy of the Lord God sees me not for what I have done but for what Jesus did for me by dying for my sins.
