I was at the Met about 5 years ago and viewed a painting that i really liked, can't remember who the painter was. Small painting - a portrait - very dark, a man - long hair and beard in dark deep shadows. Reminded me of Rasputin. Probably painted in the late 1800 early 1900. thanks for the help
