You're probably not actually getting fatter -- your stomach muscles are just enlarging and pushing what fat you already had on your stomach out (which makes it seem as if you're gaining weight). It'll stop (muscles can't grow infinitely), and, depending on your diet, you'll begin to burn fat, too (muscles use more energy just sitting aorund than fat does, so it'll help in the long run).

Ab work could help, but consider that all the walking has toned you legs. Are your arms flabby underneath? Maybe they are. If so, it could be because they get no tricep work. Your abs are no different.
How many times a day do you eat and what is your calorie intake and from what categories of food (fats, carbs, protein)?
These are all important factors.
You should eat about 6-7 small meals a day. Adjust where you get your calories from. Usually a 30-40-30 plan is a good start (30%fat - 40%carb - 30%protein) but look up online to ensure your using the right combo.
Your body is unique. So must your diet and exercise routine.

when I was playing sports my coaches would tell me that when you first start loosing weight your body gains some before it shows any results.
many people think that they should automatically start seeing results but it takes some time.
whenever you stop eating as much as your body is used to it thinks you aren't getting enough food so it goes into starvation mode which means that it stores everything which turns into fat. You should still eat 3 to 4 meals a day but instead of eating a candy bar, have a bowl of fruit.
Eventually your body will understand and you will start seeing those pounds drop off!
Just be patient and you'll see the results soon!

People who plan their weekly meals are more successful at losing weight than those that don’t. Plan your dishes to add in healthy carbs such as lovely potato and wholegrain pasta, vegetables and lean proteins, buy all of the ingredients in advance and don’t be tempted you can eat out or order in.

Suck this in. Consciously hold in and contract your ab muscles while you’re walking, sitting for your desk or making the an evening meal. This will help to strengthen your ab muscles and your core, and enable you to get one step closer to the flatter stomach.

Well are u getting fatter or are u getting heavier. There is a difference, Since u are exercising and eating healthy You are building muscle, and muscle weighs more than fat. So if the scale says you are heavier you are just building muscle fastrer than you burn fat which is really good.

Eat goats cheese instead of regular cheese. It contains 40 per cent fewer calories than the cheese created from cow’s milk.
