je suis francais et je viens souvent sur la page de yahoo usa pour voir la page France, les questions qui y sont posées, mais aussi les reponses. je vois souvent des francais repondrent aux questions. je voulais donc savoir ce que vous veniez chercher ici?
i'm french and i usually come to see the french page.
i'm reading the question and the answers too probably just to check if the clichés are still there and actually you don't disappoint me... every time i come to the us i have to fight them...
french women shave (portuguese don't actually), we drive on the right side of the road and we don't hate you...(exept muslims maybe). So my question was why are other french people coming on this site? is it for the same reasons?
Well see you next year in the us i am spending my summer vacation in seattle since 99. i've meat there the nicest, funniest person in the world.
have a good day guys.

Tout les gens qui parlent français ou qui ont eu des relations avec la France ne sont pas Français. Je suis ici au Québec et ceci ne veut pas dire qu'on est des français. Oui vous êtes nos cousins mais il y a en d'autre en Louisiana.

We just came back from a trip to France this past March. People love asking us if the French were rude, I love to break the stereotype and tell them the French were wonderful. Only one time was a man rude to us and it was in a very touristy place in Dinard and in his defense he was overwhelmed with customers and the only one waiting on people. He was the stereotype but in an entire week of travel which was from Paris, Mt Saint Michel ok, very touristy but worth it), Normandy beaches and back to Paris the people were friendly and readily helpful. We learned how to say hello, thank you, goodbye and to count to four (four of us in the family) which seem to be much appreciated. We were off the beaten path to high profile tourist spots such as the Louvre - honestly other tourists were worse as in the Lourvre a group of Asian tourists about took out my son trying to get to the Venus de Milo. We would go back in a heartbeat if we could afford it, the Euro creamed us compared to the dollar. We were there during the riots which added an interesting twist but all in all a wonderful experience. Recommends renting a car and driving all over and not just hitting the Eifel Tower and other regular spots - just doing that doesn't give a person the real view of France. Every place is what you make of it and if it is approached with an open mind and open to conversations with locals - any place can be wonderful to visit. Plus pain de chocolate is the most addicting pastry on the planet.....

Thanks,I am checking out my answers to see if anyone voted as best answer.Well, one did on my answer to [who was the best quarterback}..anyway,my son went to Paris in 1999? to play soccer with some high school age kids in France. They were treated so fine,I have to say {thanks!!}.They even got to go visit the government and were shown inside a beautiful place,I must get my son to give me the name of this lady who gave them a special tour. I really do understand that you have been through a lot(Paris and France in general) and many others have tried to make wars, invade, with Paris, etc. So,we also do not hate you,it is just a shame that it was... here is something you might want to see"Fluctuat nec mergitur", Latin for "she is buffeted by the waves but she does not sink",Tell all the soccer guys that my son still has the jersey they traded with one of your native sons. From Georgia,USA
